DeepSkyStacker 2.6.0 Released
- Twice faster: all the long processes have been optimized to divide the global process time by roughly 2
- Support for multiprocessors, hyperthreaded, duo and quad core processors has been added.
The added performance gain is from 15% for a hyperthreaded processor, to 25% for a duo core and more than 50% for a quad core.
- AHD high quality demosaicing is now taking place just before stacking allowing an optimal calibration of the light frames before demosaicing.
- AHD high quality demosaicing is now available for FITS files created from DSLRs and one shot color CCD camera
- JPEG and PNG EXIF information are decoded to retrieve exposure time and ISO speed when available.
- Drag and Drop support has been added.
