Deepsky version 2005.01.01 is Now Available
January 9, 2005 -- Deepsky Astronomy Software today announced the second release of Deepsky Astronomy Software (DAS), their flagship observing software suite. This release expands the DVD version of Deepsky to now include 2 DVD disks. One DVD contains over 400,000 images of Deepsky objects. The 2 DVD contains high resolution (1500x1500 pixels) images of all NGC, IC, and Messier objects.
In addition, many new and enhanced features build upon the success of the original Deepsky release. Among these, the Telescope Control Panel, based on ASCOM standards, presents the user with a nice screen to control a telescope. While optimized for LX200 series scopes, the Telescope Control Panel can be used by any ASCOM compliant telescope.
