I would like to announce that DeepSkyLive, an online JAVA-applet for creating star charts, has reached version 1.3. DeepSkyLive is now capable of displaying and printing highly detailed finder charts for 10,000's of deepsky objects.
Quick features:
DeepSkyLive
- is a JAVA-applet with no installation required!
- runs inside all web-browsers that have the Sun Java Runtime Environment installed
- includes 1,055,155 stars up to visual magnitude 11.5
- includes around 10,000 deepsky objects (Messier, NGC, IC, PK, Abell,...)
- contains all basic functions one should expect from a star charting application
- can print star charts: full color or black stars on white sky
- is 100% free to use
