«OCCULT is a shareware program which provides occultation observers with a comprehensive package to support their program of observing. OCCULT 4.2 is available for DOS while Win-OCCULT has been written for Windows 95.
Features: Lunar Ocultation Predictions; Record and Reduce Occultation Observations; Predict Asteroidal and Planetary Occultations of Stars; Solar and Lunar Eclipse Predictions, and Transits; Compute Planetary Ephemerides, and perform general astronomical Conversions and Functions.
OCCULT includes the full PPM as well as other catalogues, and gives you the opportunity to construct your own specialist star catalogues (e.g.from the Hubble GSC)
The full installation of OCCULT 4.2 and Win-OCCULT is available. However if you choose to download we request that you contact Graham Blow (Graham.Blow@actrix.gen.nz) so we can keep track of usage and advise you of bugfixes, etc.»
