«PRODOBS is a deepsky database developed in Javascript, so one could use it as a kind of plug-in for the Internet browser. It contains 1152 objects from the SAC database up to 11 mag and will allow the user to create sophisticated queries (PRODOBS uses the engine of the open-source-project jsSQL).
Furthermore, PRODOBS contains a sky atlas and detailed finder charts for each deepsky object (created with GUIDE). If the user is interested, he/she can follow object-related links to astronomical servers like NED, SIMBAD and WEBDA in order to get more information.»
