Allows the viewing of several images in succession, for ease of "comparison". Its main use is the monitoring of the movement of objects like asteroids or comets. It was through the use of a blink comparator that the discovery of Pluto occurred.
Choose a fixed reference point, like a star, and align each image on that point. Blink will then crop and align each image on the reference point. Each image can be exported to disk and using a third party GIF animator package - and there are a few freeware packages that are available - you can create an animated GIF of your set of images.
