Almanac based on the VSOP 87 theory. For stars the effects of aberration, precession and nutation are applied. Epoch 2000 is used. The periodic terms used are not limited to those given in Meeus book but to around 25000, for all the objects, obtained from various sources . Pluto is not added in this version as it is not required for navigation but will be added in the next version along with eclipses, different type of sailings and various methods of position fixing.
The new version of Esquire has the solar and lunar Eclipse dates . The other new feature of this version is GPS interface . Connect the GPS to the computer using the serial port connector.
