There are many display modes: several commands of stretching, but the most interesting one is a new transfer function to do the image contrast, that can be defined by the user by several parameters. The palette command is also fully editable and definable by the user. It is also possible to display the spectral analysis, and to create animations.

The menu for image processing comprises a wide range of convolution filters; apart of the standard high-pass and low-pass, unfocussed mask, gaussian and averages, the user can also try the innovative ones as non-linear and adapters. It is also possible, through a sub-menu user filter, to create own personal filters. One of the most important characteristics of Vision Pro is the possibility of several algorithms of deconvolution, very useful to recover part of the resolution lost in the image, due to many reasons as optical aberration, defocusing, tracking error etc...

The software uses the FFT application and other particular filters as the high-emphasis, to evidence the weak areas without to saturate the stronger ones; also homorphic is very useful to devignetting images where it was not possible to apply the flat-field.

For expertise users, it is available the IPBL language, very similar to Basic, designed to satisfy any particular needings as the elaboration of a sequences of images."
