| OSLO EDU | | Description: | Optical design program. OSLO is used by scientists and engineers to design lenses, reflectors, optical instruments, laser collimators, and illumination systems. It is also used for simulation and analysis of optical systems using both geometrical and physical optics. In addition to optical design and analysis, OSLO provides a complete technical software development system including interactive graphics, math, and database libraries.
There is a free version of OSLO intended for educational use (OSLO-EDU), which can be downloaded from the Lambda Research Corp. web site. This free version does NOT EXPIRE. It does not stop working after a certain number of days. For assistance in using OSLO-EDU, you can use the on-line help (included in the program), you can download the OSLO Optics Reference Manual (downloadable from the Lambda Research Corp. web site) and you can work through a few beginning tutorials (also downloadable from the Lambda Research Corp. web site) .
