New «Sky at Night» Magazine

Other topics not related with astrosoft In the UK we have now another astronomy magazine, this however compliments a series on BBC that has been running since 1957 and hosted by Patrick Moore...

There is quite a lot packed into this publication mainly geared to the armchair astronomer, which has been the main target for the TV series, but adds more techicnal data for the more serious amateur. But, to me, the best extra is the bonus cd that comes with the magazine, not seen this with other publications, packed with useful software for various scopes with go to capabilities, latest photos, software programs etc.

Whether the BBC will continue with this, we will have to wait and see.I however will subscibe. I would recommend others to do so.
