Virtual Moon Atlas

What a tremendious program for the Lunar observer. I have been using this program for quite some time, and I am always impressed with what it has to offer. Top-notch graphics, completely user-freindly, and more information than a person has a right to know....plus some!

Not only is this program completely customizable, it has one of the largest databases of Lunar objects available: Craters, mountain ranges, Mares, plains, you name it it is there.

You have the option of clicking on the name and the object will be "marked" on the accompanying Lunar map/globe, or you can pick a spot on the map/glode and the information will appear in the information window.

Each object chosen explains in detail the following:

Type: Crater, Mare, plain, etc.
Size
Description
Observation
Position
Atlas
Name Origin

If you enjoy Lunar observing; this program will quickly become a favorite of yours. If you are interested in very detailed, up-to-date info and a quality product, you will alsoi enjoy this program.

Even if Lunar observations aren't of interest to you, I urge you to at least check this program out for no other reason that the high quality and the astonishing information provided in this program.
